In his remarks during a news conference on Saturday, the Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian addressed US administration and noted that they must show their goodwill in practice.
“The United States must show its goodwill, instead of sending messages through its intermediaries in JCPOA talks,” he said.
He went on to describe goodwill definition for Iran and said “It is something tangible that must happen on the ground, removal of some sanctions is a goodwill and US is talking about it right now.”
Iranian Foreign ministry also noted that “The West parties including E3 should show guarantees, this is the key and basic issues in the current talks.”
Currently, the 8th round of Vienna talks on the removal of anti-Iranian sanctions is underway in Vienna.
Prior to this, Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raesi said the US Maximum pressure policy is so failed that even the country’s administration admits it.
Also, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said JCPOA is the framework for the country regarding the nuclear issues.
