Thursday, 3 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 37,395 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Thursday that 37,395 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,981 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 37,395 COVID-19 infections and 61 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,483,799.”
61 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 132,624,” the ministry added.
“1,945 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,121,353 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
45,095,250 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “77 cities are rated red, 179 cities are orange, 181 cities are yellow, and 11 cities are blue.”
According to the latest figures, more than 386,259,558 people have so far been infected with the novel coronavirus globally, with the deaths standing 5,721,621 and recoveries amounting to 305,939,021.
