Thursday, 3 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Iran discussed the current situation and the prospects of cooperation between the two countries over the phone.
Kazakh President Qassem Jamert Takayev and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi spoke by telephone.
During the telephone call, which was initiated by the Iranian side, the leaders of the two countries reviewed the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Raisi and Takayev noted that during the 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, significant progress has been made in various fields of cooperation.
The Presidents of Iran and Kazakhstan, on the other hand, called for increased efforts to further strengthen trade, economic and other areas of interaction.
Takayev thanked his Iranian counterpart for his sympathy for the January events in the country and said:
The situation in Kazakhstan has stabilized and steps have been taken to implement a new strategy of social and economic change.
According to Qasim Jamert Takayev, the people of Kazakhstan look to the future with confidence.
