Wednesday, 2 February 2022 (YJC)_ In a message of condolence on the occasion of the demise of the Shi’ah marja’ al-taqlid (source of emulation), al-Kaabi emphasized, “The pure soul of Grand Ayatollah Safi ascended after a blessed life full of generosity in the way of the religion of God, efforts to serve the people, as well as to meet their needs and improve their relations.”
According to the website of the representative office of al-Nujaba in Iran, following the death of Grand Ayatollah Safi-Golpaygani following the death of Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi-Golpaygani, Hujjat al-Islam Akram al-Kaabi, the secretary-general of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, issued a message of condolence on the occasion of the demise of this great source of emulation, writing, “We learned of the death of Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi-Golpaygani with hearts full of sorrow and grief.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Kaabi described the prominent personality of this Shi’ah source of emulation by saying, “He was a source of emulation whose pure soul ascended after a blessed life full of generosity in the way of the religion of God, efforts to serve the people, as well as to meet their needs and improve their relations.”
In conclusion, he added, “We offer our condolences to the noble family of this scholar and to the [other] honourable scholars and all the believers. We ask God Almighty to place this deceased in the throes of His mercy and to reunite him with His saints, Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad (peace be upon them). May God also grant great patience to the family, lovers and learned ones in the station of this source of emulation.”
