Tuesday, 1 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Qatari foreign minister told Al Jazeera that the emir had consulted with the US president on Iran's nuclear program.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, the Qatari foreign minister said that the issue of Iran's nuclear program was one of the topics discussed during the Emir of Qatar's meeting with the US President.
The Biden administration has acknowledged the failure of the so-called "maximum pressure" policy used by the previous US administration against Iran, but has refused to take any steps to get the United States back on track.
The Biden administration's insistence on maintaining sanctions under Trump is one of the main points of contention in previous rounds of the Vienna talks aimed at bringing the United States back to the JCPOA.
