More than 1,450 more flights were canceled in the United States on Sunday, according to Reuters. Snowfall and blizzards in the northeastern states have been the main reason for the cancellation of these flights.
Statistics from the FlightAware website show that more than 1,774 flights in the United States were also delayed on Sunday.
LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy Airports in New York and Boston Logan International Airport were among the airports most affected by flight cancellations and delays.
Snowfall in some parts of the Northeastern United States has reached more than 60 centimeters.
