The ambassador of Yemen to Iran, Ibrahim al-Dilami, stressed that until the aggressors withdraw from Yemen and the siege of the country ends, the blows to the aggressor countries will continue.
Al-Dilami told Al-Masira about the reason for the UAE's attacks on Shabwa province in recent weeks:
The invading powers sought military gain on the battlefield, so the UAE sent mercenaries from the West Bank to Shabwa.
He added:
The escalation of Abu Dhabi tensions in Yemen was countered by a bold and courageous decision to target the UAE, and it became clear that the UAE was also weak and shaky among the aggressor powers against Yemen.
Referring to the announcement of the departure of UAE mercenaries from Shabwa province, the Yemeni ambassador said:
The UAE is unable to continue the confrontation, so today it has resorted to deception and announces the completion of its operations in Shabwa and the relocation of forces.
Al-Dilami clarified:
The consequences of the armed forces' strike on the UAE are quite obvious; But instead of talking about retreating, the UAE and the United States lie and say that the forces moved in Shabwa.
He added:
We are ready to continue targeting all the aggressor countries against Yemen, including the UAE, and the courage of the Yemeni leadership in making such decisions is clear.
The Yemeni ambassador said that there is still no real mediation or any fair and just solution to the Yemeni crisis.
It is the Yemeni response that determines the real change in positions.
Al-Dilami stressed that he finds himself in a humiliating position following the strikes by the Yemeni armed forces on the UAE, saying:
This transforms the equations.
He added:
Until we see the withdrawal of the aggressor forces from the territory of Yemen, the case of the captives is not resolved, the Yemeni people are not compensated and the siege is not lifted before all this, the aggressor countries will face unpredictable blows.
Al-Dilami said:
The previous mediations and committees set up for the talks were just a matter of time, and today Yemen is facing a historic opportunity to exercise its independence option.
