Wednesday, 26 January 2022 (YJC)_ A member of the Hamas political bureau, noting that the Zionist regime was not serious about exchanging prisoners, stressed that Hamas provided a certain framework for mediators in this regard.
Zaher Jabarin, a member of Hamas' political bureau, stressed that Palestinian prisoners would be released soon.
Hamas news website quoted Jabarin as saying that Hamas will force the Zionist regime to a prisoner exchange agreement that includes important people and prisoners of the "Jalboo" prison.
Stating that the Zionist regime's political officials are not serious about exchanging prisoners, he noted that Hamas offered a certain framework to the mediators, but the regime did not pay any attention to these efforts.
The Hamas official stated that many Swiss, Qatari, Turkish, Egyptian and German mediators intervened to investigate the exchange of prisoners, but most of them came to the conclusion that the Zionist regime is not serious in this exchange at this stage.
Jabarin also said that the prisoners are Hamas' red line and "we will not abandon the war inside the prisons, but we will transfer it outside the prisons."
"We will not allow the Zionist regime to behave in any way it wants," he said, adding that the Palestinian people would launch an intifada to help the captives.
Jabarin stated that the time of aggression against the Palestinian people and the lack of response to it is over, adding that the Zionist regime seeks to destroy the image of our nation's victory in the battle of the Holy Sword.
