Tehran, YJC. Iranian shooter Sareh Javanmardi has been recognized as the best female athlete of Asia in 2014.
Shooter Javanmardi broke 2 world records and also picked the gold medal in both the P2 (women’s 10m pistol SH1) and the P4 (mixed 50m pistol SH1) in Incheon, South Korea as part of the Asian Games 2014.
Also, the Iranian National Paralympic Committee received an award from the Asian Paralympic Committee for good records left by Iranian athletes in the 2014 Incheon games.
Iran's nomination for the award was an outcome of the good performance by the country’s representatives in the men’s team section in the 2014 Incheon Games.
The rewards are going to be presented to the winners by the Asian Paralympic Committee in the United Arab Emirates on December 2.
