Iranian Judiciary Deputy Chief and Secretary-General of Iran's Human Rights Headquarters Kazzem Gharibabadi said that the US attempts to fight against terrorism has killed 48,000 civilians.
“Under the pretext of countering terrorism, the U.S has conducted at least 14,000 drone strikes in seven countries over the last two decades. The result? 48,000 civilians killed, tens of thousands of homes shattered into pieces,” he wrote on his twitter account.
Prior to this, while addressing the third edition of the Regional Security Dialogue, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani criticized the US acts for the misery, poverty and terrorism that brings to the world, especially in Afghanistan.
