Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanu 'criticized the meeting between Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein al-Sheikh and Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.
The law wrote on his Twitter account:
This meeting shows the decline of the Palestinian Authority, and the continuation of these useless meetings with the leaders of the occupying regime is a betrayal of the sacrifices of the Palestinian people.
He stressed the need to end these shameful meetings and to give no hope to the occupying regime and its criminal leaders.
"I met with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid tonight," al-Sheikh wrote on his Twitter account.
Without mentioning the location of the meeting, he added that in this meeting, we examined political and bilateral issues and stressed the need for a political horizon between the two sides, relying on international law.
Reconciliation talks between the Palestinians and Israelis have been suspended since 2014 due to the Zionist regime's opposition to stopping settlement construction and non-adherence to the two governments' solution.
