A senior senator on the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee has attacked Donald Trump's stance on JCPOA as talks continue in Vienna on lifting sanctions on Iran.
Connecticut MP Chris Murphy took to Twitter to comment on the upcoming talks in Vienna and the position of former President Donald Trump.
The Democratic senator and well-known member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee wrote:
Trump's departure from the JCPOA, a decision opposed by the Secretary of State and his own defense, will be considered one of the stupidest and most dangerous foreign policy decisions of the last 50 years.
The remarks by the senior US lawmaker came as talks in Vienna on lifting sanctions on Iran in the Austrian city began.
