Saturday, 22 January 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman condemned the recent airstrikes by the Saud-led coalition in Yemen.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh released a statement on Saturday in which blasted the recent deadly airstrikes by the Saud-led coalition in Yemen that killed and injured dozens of innocent people.
“The coalition's military aggression against Yemen is continuing while the international community is silent and indifferent towards this cruelty,” he noted while adding that there is no limitation to the arms sales.
He went on to note that “The international community has adopted a biased approach toward the aggression of this coalition and made the situation even more complicated. Moreover, countries that sale arms to such aggressors are also complicit in the crimes committed by the anti-Yemen coalition.”
Khatibzadeh finally said “The lack of a firm determination to resolve the Yemeni crisis through political means is the reason of the continuation of such aggression toward the Yemeni people and devastating military approach brings nothing but the destruction of great Yemen and instability in the region.”
in the early hours of Friday, airstrikes of the Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen killed at least 87 people and injuring some 266 others.
