Friday, 21 January 2022 (YJC)_ In the 2022 Maritime Security Belt Combined Exercise, Iranian, Chinese and Russian vessels fired at pre-determined targets at sea.
Second Admiral Amir Mostafa Tajaldini, spokesman for the 2022 Maritime Security Belt Combined Exercise, stated:
At this stage of the 2022 Maritime Security Belt Combined Exercise, the floating units of Iran, China and Russia, which had moved to the mission site in the North Indian Ocean this morning, performed this stage of the exercise.
He added:
At this stage of the exercise, the floating units of Iran, China and Russia, under the command of the All-Iranian Jamaran Destroyer, fired at the predetermined surface targets at sea, using 20 mm caliber weapons.
A spokesman for the 2022 Composite Maritime Security Exercise noted:

Second Admiral Tajal-Dini, stating that the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in international coalitions indicates the promotion of the level and international position of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said:
Establishing regional and international security is very important for the Islamic Republic of Iran, and for this reason the navies of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow any threat in the naval field.
