Thursday, 20 January 2022 (YJC)_ Emphasizing the need to reduce barriers to issuing export licenses, the President stated: Our share of the Russian market can certainly be improved.
Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, continuing his travel plans to Moscow on Wednesday evening, met with a group of Iranians living in Russia and expressed his gratitude for meeting with Iranians abroad:
In the report presented by the Iranian ambassador to Russia and economic activists at this meeting, a very good pathology was performed, but we need to eliminate the damage and fix the problems.
Referring to his meeting with Vladimir Putin, the President noted:
The feeling was that there was a serious will to remove obstacles and problems in the way of promoting and developing joint cooperation.
Raeisi added:
Part of the meeting focused on common issues between the two countries in the fields of economy and development of relations, but the other part was related to the strong role of Iran and Russia in the region and international issues.
Raeisi pointed out:
The impression from this meeting and conversation was that the officials of both countries are looking to solve the problems and develop relations.
Emphasizing the efforts of government members to solve export problems, Raeisi said:
Production and exports must be predictable and exporters and producers must be able to work with forecasts in this area. Risk-taking is true, but the economy must also be predictable to some extent so that activists in this field do not suffer losses.
Emphasizing the need to facilitate exports, the President stated:
Some measures to reform the economic system are just beginning, some of which will be reflected in the 1401 budget.
Referring to the possibility of creating a suitable platform for Iranian goods in Russian markets, the President said:
The Russian president also said that Iran's market share could definitely increase.
Referring to the increase in relations with some countries in recent months, the President said:
Statistics show that due to the efforts of our country's businessmen and officials and officials, exports have increased.
Regarding solving the problems of Iranian students abroad, Raeisi said:
The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and Health, Treatment and Medical Education must take the necessary measures to solve the problems of these students.
The President added:
All Iranians everywhere in the world should look to the growth and development of Iran and do their best to do so.
Pointing out that our generation should be familiar with Iranian culture, language and customs, Raeisi stressed:
It is not forbidden to study and trade abroad, but there must be belonging to the country.
