Wednesday, 19 January 2022 (YJC)_ Members of a Palestinian family who had resisted the Zionist attempt to demolish their house for several days were arrested this morning and the house was demolished.
Zionist bulldozers destroyed the Salehieh family home in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem this morning (Wednesday).
According to Palestine Today, the Zionist regime police and its special unit first raided the house and arrested family members along with those who had declared their solidarity with them.
The report goes on to say that the Palestinian military beat members of the family during their detention. Sound bombs were also used in the detention operation, and the Zionist military did not allow aid to be provided to the wounded.
Israeli troops were ready to demolish the house in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood on Monday, but members of Salehieh's family threatened to set the house on fire and set themselves on fire, and resistance continued to this day.
