Wednesday, 19 January 2022 (YJC)_ Hojatoleslam Raeisi arrived at Moscow airport a few minutes ago and was welcomed by the Russian Minister of Energy, the Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister.
President Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi, who had left for Russia at the official invitation of his Russian counterpart to expand economic, political and cultural interactions, arrived at Moscow airport a few minutes ago.
Upon arrival at Moscow's Vonkova Airport, Ibrahim Raeisi and his entourage were welcomed by Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov, Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, and Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Margulov.
The first program of this two-day trip will be a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Attending and addressing the plenary session of the Duma, meeting with Iranians living in Russia, and meeting with Russian economic activists are other plans for the president's visit to Russia.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Oil and Economic Affairs and Finance will accompany Dr. Raeisi on this trip.
