Tuesday, 18 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Minister of Energy said the country is ready to prepare a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Iraq.
In a meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister's advisor, Rashid Al-Maamouri , the Iranian Minister of Energy, Ali Akbar Mehrabian said the country is ready to prepare a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Iraq.
The Iranian official said “Developing relations with various countries, especially our neighbors is the policy of current administration.”
“Iran is ready to conclude a comprehensive agreement in trade exchange with Iraq, we are ready to meet Iraq's needs in the electricity field for the next 20 years,” he added.
For his part, the Iraqi advisor said the country wants the development of economic relations between Tehran and Baghdad.
