Tuesday, 18 January 2022 (YJC)_ The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs met with the Saudi Foreign Minister in Riyadh.
US Assistant Secretary of State Molly Fee and US Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa David Sutherfield met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
According to the Saudi News Agency (WAS), the meeting was held on Monday (yesterday) in Riyadh, during which the strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, ways to strengthen these relations and joint coordination, as well as the two countries' efforts to strengthen security and stability in the Horn of Africa. The development and prosperity of African nations and countries and the latest developments with joint efforts at the regional and international levels were examined.
The meeting was also attended by the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister for Political and Economic Affairs and the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Riyadh.
