Mohammad al-Zayadi, a member of the State of Law Coalition, said on Monday that there were signs of a dispute between the Coordination Committee and the Sadr faction over the formation of a future cabinet.
Al-Zayadi said in an interview with Mawazin News:
Signs of resolving the crisis with Sadr have emerged in the statements of the Coalition of Determination and the Democratic Party of Iraqi Kurdistan, in which they stressed the need to form an agreement government, and this is where we understand the signs of resolving the crisis.
Regarding the time and manner of the second session of the Iraqi parliament, he said that the fate of the second session depends on the decision of the federal court.
The member of the State of Law Coalition, meanwhile, did not mention the possibility of the coalition being in the cabinet and agreeing with Sadr.
Meanwhile, Hisham al-Rakabi, head of the office of Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, wrote on Twitter:
Despite the rumors that the Coordination Committee is not integrated, we emphasize that the Coordination Committee is fully integrated, both in terms of position and faction, and has a unified position on developments.
He added that the figures of the Coordination Committee are in talks with various political groups to achieve a unified national structure for managing the next phase.
