Sunday, 16 January 2022 (YJC)_ Iraqi sources reported that the head of the Al-Fatah coalition met with the leader of the Sadr faction in Najaf Ashraf.
Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadr faction, hosted Hadi al-Amiri, the leader of the Fatah coalition, on Saturday evening.
Al-Sadr hosted Al-Amiri at his home in Hananeh, Najaf, Ashraf reported, the official Iraqi news agency reported.
Al-Sadr's office also issued a brief statement about the meeting, but did not provide details about the meeting.
Earlier, a political source told Shafaq News that the meeting took place in Hananeh and was supposed to be away from the eyes of the media.
No further details have been released about the meeting.
