Friday, 14 January 2022 (YJC)_ Iran's Army-Navy Commander named establishing maritime security as one of the most important goals of Iran.
In an interview with a TV program, Iran's Army-Navy Commander, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said that establishing maritime security is one of the most important goals of Iran.
“Iranian Army has a significant capability in maritime field to be presented in everywhere,” he said while highlighting the fact that providing security and safety for all vessels in open waters is a priority for Iranian Army.
He also noted that such presence of Iranian navy army forces is with the aim of demonstrating the authority of Iran and presenting peace and friendship to all nations.
Admiral Shahram Irani finally announced that the maritime presence is currently reached about two thousand kilometers from the borders of the country and noted “But we plan to expand our presence to farther areas.”
