Tehran, YJC. Iranian game enthusiasts are welcomed to join the Global Game Jam on Jan. 24 at Iran Game Development Institute.
2013 Global Game Jam Vancouver
The Global Game Jam (GGJ), an
international non-profit corporation based in San Luis Obispo, California, is
the world's largest game jam event (game creation)taking place around the
world at physical locations. In this year’s edition Iranian game enthusiasts can
participate in this event at Iran Game Development Institute on January 24,
2015.
The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity. It aims at fostering game design and game education through innovative events.
This event lasts for 48 hours during which players all around the world watch a short video and then are challenged to make games based on a secret theme that has been announced.
The GGJ event will take place on Jan. 24-26 in 480 locations in 63 countries and is expected to have over 3000 games created in 48 hours
