Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, who is visiting China, met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
In this regard, the Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement:
The meeting, held in the southern Chinese city of Wuxi, focused on regional and international issues, with the introduction of strengthening security and stability in West Asia and the efforts of countries in the region and the world to lay the foundations for peace.
The two sides discussed Iran's nuclear program and international talks.
According to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Bin Farhan and Wang Yi went on to discuss the importance of supporting everything that contributes to Afghanistan's security and stability.
Recently, Faisal bin Farhan told a joint news conference with his Greek counterpart Nicholas Dendias in Athens that Saudi Arabia was concerned about "Iranian violations, especially in the field of nuclear program."
