Monday, 10 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian First Vice President said the relation between Iran and Turkmenistan should become a role model for the region.
In his meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Economics and Finance of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, The Iranian First Vice President Mohmmad Mokhber said the relation between two countries should become a role model for the region.
Mokhber urged the expansion of the relation between the two countries especially in the field of border exchanges, export of engineering services and maritime, oil, energy, and railways and said Iran should identify the capacities of the two countries.
“The current volume of exchanges between the two countries is not acceptable,” he noted while adding that “Iran and Turkmenistan must become a role model of trade, economic and cultural relations for other countries in the region.”
He finally noted that expansion of the ties with neighboring countries is Iran’s policy and urged the development of economic, industrial, trade, transit, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
