Monday, 10 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus emphasized that the martyr Sardar Haj Qassem Soleimani played a fundamental and great role in reviving and supporting the Palestinian cause.
The Iranian ambassador to Damascus, Mehdi Sobhani, said that the martyr Sardar Haj Qassem Soleimani was a special person not only for the Iranian nation but also for the entire axis of resistance and the Islamic nations, especially the Palestinian nation.
Sobhani said in an interview with Al-Ahd website:
It is no secret that Martyr Soleimani was able to develop the conflict with the Zionist enemy from rock to rocket, so that a small geographical place like Gaza was able to humiliate the Zionist enemy and shatter its grandeur.
He clarified:
Martyr Soleimani played a major role in reviving and supporting the Palestinian cause, and it is clear to everyone that the arrogant ideology is based on forgetting the Palestinian cause, but Martyr Soleimani worked to keep this ideal alive, and there is no doubt that commemorating the anniversary of Martyr Soleimani By Palestinian groups will play a major and positive role in supporting the stability of the Palestinian cause.
The Iranian ambassador to Damascus also referred to the religious beliefs of Martyr Soleimani and said:
According to these beliefs, resistance is the only powerful factor in confronting the Zionist regime and the global arrogant powers, and it is inspired by the Holy Quran, because God Almighty calls on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to be patient and steadfast.
He added:
Relying on these religious teachings and being inspired by Imam Khomeini's instructions, Martyr Soleimani was able to form resistance groups, and rockets replaced stones as weapons of resistance, and the Zionist regime was shelled from the air and ground, and was forced to support itself. Construction of a retaining wall took place.
Sobhani said:
Martyr Soleimani was able to turn Palestinian groups operating undercover into a powerful army equipped with equipment and weapons.
Sobhani also emphasized:
Martyr Sardar Soleimani is the pride of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its national hero and an international figure and a global symbol of resistance.
