Monday, 10 January 2022 (YJC)_ Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian headed a delegation to Muscat to meet with Omani officials.

Our Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Muscat this morning (Monday) to meet with Omani officials.

The main focus of the talks during this trip will be to explore ways to expand bilateral relations in various political, economic and cultural fields, as well as to discuss important issues in the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will be accompanied by a political delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, on January 2nd.

During the talks, the two foreign ministers stressed the need to continue consultations on various bilateral and international issues.
