Iran stands at an equal distance from all political, ethnic and religious parties and organizations; But if it is asked for help, it is ready to build rapprochement and convergence of views in order to achieve a national agreement in Iraq to form a government.

Iran believes in the importance of reaching a national consensus of all Iraqi forces away from foreign or regional interference, and will never persuade its friends to take a clear position on either side.
