Saturday, 8 January 2022 (YJC)_ Spokesman of the IRGC said that the Iranian Armed Forces’ deterrent power prevents the Zionist regime’s threats against the country.
Spokesman of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif said that the Iranian Armed Forces’ deterrent power prevents the Zionist regime’s threats against the country.
“The recent drills hold by Iran shows our deterrence power, it is clear that we can halt their empty military threats against Iran,” he noted while referring to the Israel’s threats before the drills.
Amid the ongoing Vienna talks, the Zionist officials claimed that Israel could attack Iran, General Ramezan Sharif dismissed the remarks as “empty rhetoric” and noted that “the Zionists’ prime minister officially ordered their military figures not to talk about Iran at all.”
“They are obviously looking for Iran’s destruction and taking destructive action against Iran’s nuclear facilities but our deterrence power and the location of its nuclear facilities prevent this regime,” he said.
He also referred to the Zionist regime’s attacks against the nuclear facilities of Iraq and Syria, and said they think “no Muslim or Arab country has the right to have a nuclear program.”
The recent drills (the Payambar-e Azam 17 /The Great Prophet drill) were held in the south of Iran in the Persian Gulf region attended by land, air and naval forces of the IRGC.
In the drill, the IRGC ground, naval, and air forces participated.
In a relevant remark the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy, Rear-Admiral Alireza Tangsiri announced that all the weaponry used in Payambar-e Azam 17 drill are domestic.
Also, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said the recent drill conducted by IRGC shows Iran’s determination to respond to the enemies.
