Friday, 7 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Russian negotiator wrote on his Twitter page in the Vienna talks: The meeting of the members of JCPOA (without the presence of Iran) and with the presence of the United States was held at the end of Thursday.
According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, the Russian negotiator in the Vienna talks, wrote on his Twitter page:
The traditional meeting of the members of JCPOA (without Iran) and with the presence of the United States was held late Thursday. Negotiators wore masks due to Covid-19 restrictions.
He further added:
We had a targeted discussion on one of the most difficult issues on the agenda of the Vienna talks.
In a Twitter message, our Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated that the Vienna talks are proceeding in a normal and good way thanks to the initiatives of the Iranian side, emphasizing that now it is the turn of the Western side to show that it has serious will to reach an agreement.
