Friday, 7 January 2022 (YJC)_ A member of the National Security Commission of the parliament said: in the case of the assassination of Haj Qassem Soleimani, the main defendant is the US ruling body.
Zohreh Elahian, the representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring to the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Haj Qasem Soleimani, stated:
The issue of following up on the assassination of Sardar Soleimani is one of the issues that the government and the judiciary should seriously pursue, because Hajj Qasim is beloved by the hearts of Muslim nations, and this assassination took place in a third country.
She added:
The Iranian people have not survived the assassination of Haj Qassem Soleimani, and their demand from the relevant apparatuses is to pursue this case with a revolutionary approach.
A member of the National Security Commission of the parliament stated:
The Supreme National Security Council has a very important role in investigating the case of the assassination of Martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani and is the coordinator of various affairs, and this case needs to be seriously pursued in international forums. However, this issue was raised in the meeting of the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and for this reason, we asked the diplomatic apparatus to pursue this case with a revolutionary approach, not diplomatic.
Elahian said:
The Human Rights Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly has held several meetings with the relevant bodies to follow up on the case of the assassination of Haj Qassem Soleimani, and we have demanded that the perpetrators be punished.
She added:
In the case of the assassination of Haj Qassem Soleimani, the main accused is the US administration, which carried out this criminal assassination on the orders of the President of this country, and the investigation should definitely be aimed at punishing the perpetrators of this assassination.
