Thursday, 6 January 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to recent unrests in Kazakhstan, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said the security of this country is important for Iran.
Referring to recent unrests in Kazakhstan the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said the security of this country is important for Iran.
“Iran attaches great importance to the stability and security of Kazakhstan, there should be no room for abuse by foreign agents,” Khatibzadeh said while noting Iran believes the government and people of Kazakhstan should resolve their disputes through dialogue.
He finally expressed hope that peace would return to Kazakhstan as soon as possible.
Some anti-government protests are underway in Kazakhstan after a sudden hike in fuel prices drew intense public condemnation over the weekend.
The entire presidential cabinet has resigned in response to the unrest and a state of emergency has been extended throughout the country.
