Monday, 3 January 2022 (YJC)_Iranian ambassador to Russia names the country’s president’s visit to Russia as a turning point for both countries.
In his recent interview, Iranian ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said Iranian President’s trip to Russia is a turning point in Tehran-Moscow relations.
“Given the developments in the international arena, President’s Raeisi’s trip to Moscow is doubly important,” he said while noting that Russia is one of the countries that has a lot of potentials to expand relations.
Earlier, the Iranian government spokesman Bahadori Jahromi announced that the Iranian president will travel to Russia in early 2022.
This travel will be done at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Prior to thatis, Putin said during a news conference at the end of talks with the Greek Prime Minister that "The president of Iran may visit Russia in early 2022. I think my invitation to the Iranian president has been accepted and he will travel to Russia early next year "
“President Raeisi will travel to the Russian capital of Moscow in early 2022 at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin,” Jahromi announced on Tuesday.
