Monday, 3 January 2022 (YJC)_ The secretary of the Iranian Judiciary's Human Rights Council said the US assassination of General Soleimani is a crime against humanity.
While speaking about the latest status of perusing the case of General Ghasem Soleimani's assassination, the secretary of the Iranian Judiciary's Human Rights Council Kazem Gharibabadi said this terrorist act is a crime against humanity.
Gharibabadi announced that “Iran is seeking a close cooperation with Iraqi government to identify all the perpetrators as the terrorist crime took place in this country,” and noted that most of the suspects are among US officials.
“Of the 125 suspects identified, most of them are US government officials, former US President Donald Trump is at the head,” he noted while adding that “Some other countries provided logistical support.
Prior to this, in a letter to UN high commissioner for human rights Michelle Bachelet Jeria, Iranian Judiciary Deputy Chief and Secretary-General of Iran's Human Rights Headquarters Kazzem Gharibabadi criticized a number of countries for their adoption of a political approach towards terrorist groups.
He also called on the UN body to condemn the martyrdom of Iranian police personnel by terrorist groups.
