A source close to the Iranian negotiating team rejects Western media’s claims which is said that Iran is considering a deadline for JCPOA talks.
“No deadline has been set for the ongoing talks,” the source said while noting that what the Iranian team have in their minds is the rights of their nation within the framework of previous agreements.
He went on to say that such claims are baseless and are made with the aim of imposing tensions on the negotiating atmosphere and noted “But they will not change the strategy of the Iranian negotiating team to reach a good agreement.”
Talks will resume in the coming days. On Monday December 27, the 8th round of Vienna talks began but temporarily suspended on Friday December 31 due to the New Year’s holidays.
