Monday, 3 January 2022 (YJC)_ New statistics show that about 2,000 more flights to the United States were canceled on Sunday.
Statistics from the FlightAware website show that 1,956 flights across the United States were canceled on Sunday, according to the Congressional Information Service.
Unfavorable weather conditions and the spread of the Corona virus have been the main reason for the cancellation of flights. About 870 flights were also delayed.
Southwest canceled 264 flights and Jet Blue announced 169 cancellations on Sunday. Delta and American Airlines also canceled 161 and 136 flights, respectively.
More than 14,000 flights have been canceled in the United States over the past ten days.
