Hazem Qasim, spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), reacted to the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Qasim issued a statement saying:
The targeting of some points and agricultural lands in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist enemy is an aggression that added to the record of the crimes of this regime against our people.
While emphasizing the continuation of resistance against the occupiers, he emphasized:
The resistance will continue its duty to defend the people and liberate our holy land and places, and the enemy and its settlers will experience despair and defeat.
A Hamas spokesman added, referring to the anti-aircraft confrontation of the resistance groups with the Israeli attack planes:
Greetings to the proud men of the resistance who repel the enemy's attack with missiles and anti-aircraft guns, and greetings to our brave people who stand on the front lines of the enemy.
Hours ago, the Israeli air force and artillery attacked several bases and positions of resistance groups in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.
