Hazem Qasim, spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), reacted to the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Qasim issued a statement saying:

Hours ago, the Israeli air force and artillery attacked several bases and positions of resistance groups in the north and south of the Gaza Strip.
