Saturday, 1 January 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Ministry criticized the recent US remarks on the Iran’s scientific progress.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh criticized the recent US remarks on the Iran’s scientific progress.
“It is Iran’s undeniable right to have progress in the field of scientific and research, especially in aerospace domain, such intervening remarks will not impede us in this regard. Nothing will prevent us from continuing our space program, UNSC Resolution 2231 is purely fallacious and fundamentally untrue” he said.
“According to international standards, Iran has the right to use peaceful technologies in the path of its scientific-research development,” Khatibzadeh said while adding that Iran will not tolerate the opinions of countries seeking to impose their dictates.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to US cruel and unilateral sanctions and paid tribute to young Iranian scientists for their remarkable achievements in the field of aerospace.
Recently, Defense Ministry Spokesman Ahmad Hosseini announced that carrying 3 research devices, Iran’s home-made satellite carrier, Simorq (Phoenix), was successfully launched into space.
