Saturday, 1 January 2022 (YJC)_ On the anniversary of the establishment of the Fatah movement, the head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, called for a meeting of the Palestinian Central Council to take a decisive decision to counter the Zionist regime's aggression.

Mahmoud Abbas: Our patience has run out of Israeli occupationIn his speech on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the founding of the Fatah movement, the head of the Palestinian Authority called for a meeting of the Palestinian Central Council at the beginning of this year (2022).

According to the Quds Press report, he said:
Our patience is withstood the bitter reality that our people have been living with for eight decades, and it will not accept the organized actions of the Israeli occupation to change the identity of Jerusalem, the desecration of the holy places of this city, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Qiyamah Church and Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil.

He added:
We extend our hand for a just and inclusive peace within the framework of the international meeting based on legitimate international resolutions under the supervision of the International Quartet to end the occupation of the Palestinian territories, centered in Jerusalem.

Abbas continued:
The 57th anniversary of the founding of Fatah comes as the Zionist regime continues its repressive actions against the Palestinian people, the theft of its lands and natural resources, the economic siege and confiscation of property, the restriction of freedoms, the implementation of racist policies, ethnic cleansing and organized terrorism.
