Wednesday, 29 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iran’s top negotiator met deputy EU foreign policy chief and the representatives of the three European countries to the JCPOA.
On Wednesday it is announced that Iran’s top negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani met and held talks with deputy EU foreign policy chief Enrique Mora and the representatives of the three European countries to the JCPOA.
This meeting was held at the Coburg Hotel in the Austrian capital in continuation of the eighth round of the talks.
Ali Bagheri Kani also held a meeting with the representatives of Britain, France, and Germany in Vienna on Wednesday.
This reound of Vienna talks (8th round) began on Monday with the aim of lifting sanctions against Iran. Discussions on Wednesday are continuing at various levels.
Last night, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that reaching an agreement will be possible if the other parties negotiate in good faith and said “Vienna negotiations are on the right track. Now Iranian team have a common and fixed text to be focused on. If the other parties continue the negotiations in good faith, it is possible for all parties to reach a good agreement.”
