Gov. Spox: Despite Severe Sanctions, Iran Face no Restriction in Accessing Foreign Currencies

Wednesday, 29 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Government Spokesman said in spite of the severe sanctions the country faces no restriction in having access to foreign currencies.

Spox: Despite Severe Sanctions, Iran Face no Restriction in Accessing Foreign CurrenciesIn his remarks in a press conference in Tehran, Iranian Government Spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi said in spite of the severe sanctions the country faces no restriction in having access to foreign currencies.

“The selling of oil and the return of the currencies are acceptable though we are under severe sanctions and harsh pressure, and also Iranian government has faced no restriction in having access to foreign currencies,” he said.

In a relevant remark in a press conference, Ali Bahadori Jahromi announced that the country’s assets frozen in foreign countries has been released and said “A significant amount of Iran's foreign resources has been released, therefore, the Shanghai Summit (Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization), the ECO Summit and the joint gas swap with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have been instanced of the dynamism of the Islamic Republic of Iran's economic diplomacy.”

He, also, went on to refer to the current Vienna talks and said the current Iranian administration is serious in removing the illegal and cruel sanctions.
