Russian diplomat expresses hope for revival of the JCPOA

Russian diplomat expresses hope for revival of the JCPOARussia's Deputy Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, has expressed hope that the Iran nuclear deal will be revived, given the conditions.

In a brief interview with reporters, Polyansky said:
I sincerely believe that we will succeed in reviving the JCPOA. At first we waited for the Biden government, it was a long process, about 5 months. Then elections were held in Iran and a new Iranian team was formed.

According to the website of "Rianovosti" network, he explained that the negotiations are continuing:
We have a very good team of experts in Vienna, led by Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna. And I am very confident in their diplomatic skills.

The Russian diplomat also added:
I know this is not easy. But I am very optimistic, we have all the necessary conditions for the expected success so that we can announce that JCPOA is operational again.
