Amir-Abdollahian: Should Other Parties Negotiate in Good Faith, Reaching an Agreement will be Possible

Tuesday, 28 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian Foreign Minister said that reaching an agreement will be possible if the other parties negotiate in good faith.

Amir-Abdollahian: Should Other Parties Negotiate in Good Faith, Reaching an Agreement will be PossibleOn the sidelines of the memorial ceremony of the former Iranian envoy to Yemen Hasan Irloo on Tuesday, the the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that reaching an agreement will be possible if the other parties negotiate in good faith.

“Vienna negotiations are on the right track. Now Iranian team have a common and fixed text to be focused on. If the other parties continue the negotiations in good faith, it is possible for all parties to reach a good agreement.”

He went on to refer to the Iranian diplomatic mission in Yemen and said that “the new ambassador will be introduced soon and noted the mission is now run by chargé d'affaires.”

“To preserve the national unity and territorial integrity of Yemen, all Yemeni parties should participate in creating a government,” he noted.

“Developing cooperation, lifting the humanitarian blockade, and ending aggression against Yemen are Iran’s top priority, Yemeni crisis will merely have a political solution.” according to Amir-Abdollahian.
