Monday, 27 December 2021 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Minister said that the country is committed to political solutions for regional problems.
In a meeting with visiting Omani Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalifa Al-Harthy, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the country is committed to political solutions for regional problems.
“The expansion of bilateral relations with neighbors is a top priority of Iran President,” Iranian Foreign Minister said while also noting that two sides should work to enhance the volume of trade exchanges between the two countries.
He also announced that Iran is ready to hold talks with the countries of the region in order to improve bilateral relations and said that Iran is committed to political solutions for regional problems.
Prior to this, in a meeting with Oman's Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning Brigadier General Abdulaziz Abdullah al-Manthri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri highlighted the need to further expand defense and military cooperation between the two countries.
In a relevant remark on the occasion of the Holy Defense Week (invasion of Iraq against Iran in 1980s) and The World Peace Day 2021, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri addressed to the US soldiers and military personnel and asked them not to become soldiers of warmongering rulers.
