Chinese diplomat emphasizes Beijing's constructive role in the Vienna talksIn an interview with a Chinese media outlet on Sunday, a senior Chinese diplomat noted Beijing's constructive role in the world's most sensitive and sensitive affairs at the moment, including the issue of Iran's nuclear program and the failure of US domination, especially by leaving Afghanistan.

"We are playing a unique and constructive role in important issues such as Afghanistan, the Iranian nuclear issue and the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula," said Li Yucheng, China's deputy foreign minister, in an interview with CGTN.

China's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian told a news conference on Friday that China welcomes the resumption of the eighth round of talks in Vienna on resuming adherence to the JCPOA.

He added:
We hope that all parties will take a serious approach and focus on the remaining issues and continue to advance the negotiations to achieve quick results.

The Chinese diplomat stressed:
I would like to reiterate that the United States, as the culprit in the Iranian nuclear crisis, must change its wrong policy of maximum pressure on Iran and lift all illegal sanctions against Iran and judicial interventions against third parties. Accordingly, Iran must resume its full commitment. China will continue to play an active and constructive role and will continue to work with all parties to get the JCPOA back on track as soon as possible. In the meantime, we will resolutely protect our legitimate rights and interests.
