Sunday, 26 December 2021 (YJC)_an Iranian source blasted the manners of French delegation in Vienna talks and said they have slowed down the progress.

Iranian Source: French Delegation Impede the Process of Vienna TalksAn informed Iranian source said the French delegation participating in the latest round of nuclear talks in Vienna slowed down the process of negotiations.

“Works on Vienna drafts was progressing during the two-day absence of the French delegation,” the source noted while saying “In the latest round of talks, the French side played no constructive role and even slowed down the process of negotiations.”

“When the French team returned to the talks, they showed their opposition to the draft and the process was disrupted,” he added.

Prior to this, in a meeting with German Ambassador to Tehran, Iranian Vice President for Legal Affairs Mohammad Dehqan blasted the passive approach of E3 in not being committed to their obligations.

Also, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh told reporters that he rejects any direct talks taken place during negotiations in Vienna.

Currently, the Iranian official is in Vienna to attend negotiations on lifting sanctions against Iran.

Two weeks ago, it is announced that the 8th round of Vienna talks between Iran and P4+1 has started in Coburg Hotel.

Last week, Iran's top nuclear negotiator in Vienna talks Ali Bagheri Kani announced that discussions will be resumed after a few days’ break.
