According to the Anatolian News Agency, Al-Sisi and Putin discussed the latest developments in Libya, as well as ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Cairo and Moscow.
The presidents of the two countries agreed to increase work and mutual coordination to resolve the Libyan crisis and fight terrorist organizations and armed militias, the Egyptian presidency said.
The consultations between Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Vladimir Putin took place at a time when Libya has not calmed down since 2011 and NATO intervened to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi, and the presence and involvement of various countries in the war-torn country continues.
