Today (Saturday), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, congratulated Christians all over the world, especially their Christian compatriots, on the birthday of Jesus Christ and Christmas.
The message reads:

Congratulations on the auspicious birth of Jesus Christ, the Prophet of Peace and Reconciliation and the banner of compassion and altruism, as well as the arrival of Christmas as a celebration of Christian joy around the world, especially my noble and patriotic Christian compatriots.
In these difficult times caused by the corona epidemic, all of humanity more than ever needs the company, friendship and fulfillment of the enlightened and heavenly messages of the divine messengers. Everyone hopes for peace and coexistence between the followers of the Abrahamic religions and the elimination of oppression and injustice.
I wish all the people of the world, especially the followers of the religion of Jesus Christ, a year of health, happiness and prosperity.
