Saturday, 25 December 2021 (YJC)_ The Iranian ambassador in London, stating that Resolution 2231 speaks about missiles designed to carry nuclear weapons, said: "Iranian missiles are not designed for this purpose, but are designed to defend Iranian territory, and the response Give a blow to the aggressors.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, Mohsen Baharvand, wrote on his Instagram page in response to the interventionist positions of some countries, including Britain, following the launch of ballistic missiles during the training of the Holy Prophet:
Some countries have objected to Iran's military maneuver, which is conventional and defensive, and some have called it contrary to Security Council Resolution 2231.
He wrote:
These countries should be reminded several times that Resolution 2231 speaks of missiles designed to "carry nuclear weapons."
Baharvand pointed out:
Iranian missiles are not designed to do this, but are designed to defend Iranian territory and respond aggressively to aggressors.
The Iranian ambassador added:
Resolution 2231 has many provisions that you did not implement and ignored. Your ability and honesty to identify threats to international peace and security is questionable, as if you imposed two major wars on the region on the pretext that you confessed after killing thousands of civilians that it was wrong.
He added:
If you are honest, condemn the Zionist regime only once, which, contrary to the explicit text of the UN Charter, routinely threatens Iran with the use of force, so that your honesty will be clear to everyone.
