Wednesday, 22 December 2021 (YJC)_ The commander of the IRGC ground forces, in describing the force's plans in the 17th exercise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), emphasized: "We have updated our defense doctrine in accordance with the new threats, and our offensive and combat drones have made it possible to destroy any target."
Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the IRGC Ground Forces, on the sidelines of the 17th Exercise of the 17th Great Prophet, stated that we have updated our tactical doctrine in accordance with the new threats:
The course of our tactical doctrine has changed and the tactics have changed and adapted to the operational scenes and threats, capacity and flexibility.
The Commander of the IRGC Land Forces described and specified the 17th exercise of the Great Prophet (PBUH) as a joint and combined exercise based on the calendar of annual exercises:
We, as the guardians of the revolution, must always be prepared in accordance with the enemy's estimates.
Sardar Pakpour pointed to the upgrade of the IRGC ground forces' drone capabilities and said:
We have acquired and localized UAV production and reproduction technology.
He added:
Our attack and combat drones can target anywhere they need to, so that with these tools and the process of maturing and equipping these birds, it is possible to target and destroy any target.
Sardar Pakpour further stated:
With the efforts of defense industry experts and self-sufficient jihad organizations, we have been equipped with the capability of female point missiles, which will be part of this operational capability in the same exercise.
He added:
Our electronic warfare technologies have evolved tremendously from the past, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Sardar Pakpour also pointed out:
In the field of armor, we have worked on upgrading the fire control system of the tanks, and our tanks are able to hit their targets accurately at distances of several kilometers, and the fire control system of our T-72 tanks has been upgraded to the T-90 tank.
